主要研究领域
微尺度多相流问题范围广泛、形态多样,针对液膜、液丝、液滴、颗粒等微尺度流体的典型表现形式开展相关基础研究,以直接数值模拟、高速显微摄影和理论量化分析相结合的研究方法,瞄准界面演变规律与流固耦合效应,在以下三个方向开展工作:
1、液膜形态演变及其微观失稳机制;
2、微液滴生成机理与相互作用规律;
3、微尺度输运特征及流固耦合效应。
将拓扑学理论应用于自适应网格加密,提高了液膜厚度变化较大的多相界面流动问题的计算效率和精度,应用于液体火箭发动机雾化中的液膜时空演变与失稳机制研究,方法和成果在航天推进、汽车喷漆、呼吸给药上得到应用;设计制造了具有圆截面通道的微流控芯片,揭示了液滴生成过程中的两种毛细不稳定性机理,并发展持续流动方法证实了机理的普适性;研究多个液滴相互作用情景中的微尺度界面流动现象,建立了反映流动模式和产物形态的理论模型;针对微尺度输运开展研究,采用多种数值方法量化了微粒的受力,阐明了多个惯性迁移规律和流固耦合效应,方法和成果已应用于反应堆安全评估和骨科临床治疗。研究成果得到了国内外专家学者的积极评价、广泛引用和多方运用,已有成果和后续研究将继续在航空航天推进、微流控技术、生物医学工程等领域发挥重要价值。
